"Waga Chic" is a one-day culinary and cultural experience class where you can learn about traditional and modern Japanese sweets-making in English. The sessions are held in a home, with the maximum number of participants set at four (4) people. So you can have a more intimate and focused experience. Children are also welcome to be a part of the group. We keep our recipes as simple as possible so that you can easily recreate them when you get home.
The purpose of this class is enjoyment. But you can also learn about the history and culture of mochi and traditional sweets. (You are also provided with mochi and sweets containers, if you would like to take your sweets-creations home with you. After the class, you can enjoy making and drinking Japanese tea or "matcha", and eat your sweets too. So, please come and enjoy my class!
